King-Size Stash Quilt

Recently I took a deep breath and laid out all the blocks for my enormous stash-quilt. It covered most of my living room floor and I felt a bit overwhelmed at the thought of getting any further with it.

IMG_0139IMG_0134Once I was happy with the placement of all the blocks I spent a weekend sewing them into rows, then finally into a top. The edging took ages as I wanted to make sure I got everything square and chose the right colours. I still have not bought a single scrap of fabric for this project!

I spread the unfinished top over my bed the other day to see what it might end up looking like. And you know what?

I think I am really going to like it!
