Easter

It is school holiday time here in NZ which means I have been relaxing and getting in some concentrated knitting time. We spent a lovely 5 nights in the Coromandel at a spot that had some wonderful pottery studios, a creek to paddle in, and had plenty of light and sunshine.

The Easter Bunny visited the garden.IMG_9745I brought along a random selection of yarn and needles and had time to sit and plan what I wanted to make,

In the end I decided to start on a little baby cardigan design which has been floating around in my head for a while. I made a good start and I am really pleased with how sweet it is looking. I am intending it to be a reversible garment which is a new problem for my brain to resolve!

Lastly, there was some shopping. I bought some little ceramic buttons.
