Bi-Annual Tidy-Up

Part of the tidying up process included fixing some very poor storage solutions and making things look a bit more organised and presentable.

My sewing needles went from their plastic sleeves punctured full of holes into their new needle book. Much prettier, and definitely easier to keep them all in one spot now.

Then I sorted out the pin situation. They previously resided in a tacky plastic box that always meant I pricked myself on rogue sharp ends when pulling out a few pins at a time, plus they were all higgledy-piggledy. Now they are stabbed safely into a little red pin cushion that I made out of some bright red burlap.

I just need to sort out the shabby paper bag full of knitting needles now! I have grand plans but no time…so I will have to be patient and wait for the holidays!
