Merry Christmas!

We will be having a very quiet day tomorrow which is exactly what we need. The tree is up and decorated…this is one of my favourite angels. She is Peruvian.

IMG_0033I have been gifted an overwhelmingly large number of things from the children in my class (and their parents).

They were so generous! As much as I appreciate all the gifts I think my favourite things were the cards. It’s nice to hear that people are happy with how you care for their children.

And as for holiday crafting, I have done very little! Surgery last week has kept me quiet and fairly tired. So I am just knitting away on some works-in-progress and planning projects for next year. Here is one of the plans:

A knitted wreath for the porch. It will definitely be one of those stop-start projects, but I would like to have it done for next Christmas. I would also like to make Molly a stocking…that might be pushing it though!

Happy holidays to those of you who are celebrating, I hope you have a restful and happy break. See you in the new year.
