Acorn Cap – A New Pattern

IMG_0026 IMG_0032 IMG_0023

Autumn walks in our local park inspired me to design this little Acorn Cap for Molly’s winter wardrobe and I thought I would write up the pattern in case anyone else wanted to make one too!

I have used a really chunky, 14 ply yarn and large needles, so this can easily be knitted in an evening, even if you are making the largest size. The moss stitch pattern continues throughout the decreases to keep it as acorn-ish (what? It’s a word) as possible.

You can find the pattern here! I’d love to see pictures if you make one.
