A Week in Brief

IMG_9566 IMG_9569 IMG_9567February’s meal. I made Nigella Lawson’s supper onion pie. The thyme is from Molly’s little herb garden…it’s still alive! Strictly speaking this wasn’t a totally new recipe for me, as I used to make it when I was flatting during Uni days. But I haven’t made it in years, and now I can’t remember why I stopped. It’s so tasty! It’s basically slow cooked, almost caramelised, onions on a cheese scone base.

Photo doesn’t do it justice at all, it really was good. The rest of the week has been a happy combination of crafting and markets. I found some beautiful little gift cards from Ellaquaint at Crafternoon Tea, and a handful of buttons that will be perfect to finish off my latest knitting pattern. I am writing it up this week and will hopefully release it on Sunday.
