Flashing the Stash, 2013

So, last year my stash looked like this:

Nothing lost, a little gained. Nothing lost, a little gained.

This year, my stash looks like this:

IMG_9130Are you seeing what I see? Not a very big difference is what I am seeing! Hence the resolution (again) to get my stash down to a size I am happy with. I think it’s getting smaller, but I am adding in lots more handspun (and I had a couple of no-buying lapses) so it’s hard to tell.

However, I know myself well enough now not to assume that I can stick to a ‘knit only from stash’ rule, so this year I am allowed to buy and spin yarn, BUT by the end of the year I want to be able to fit all of it into ONE of those plastic boxes. I have already assigned three of these skeins to projects…baby steps.

I have to say though, I think it’s prettier this year! Do you have any crafting goals on the go?

This year I want to publish some patterns, but that means more time writing and less time for knitting- oh dear!

I am jealous of how small your stash is. I am beginning to be a bit overwhelmed by the size of mine.
