Christmas Knitting Accountability

Oh, I had such noble, grand plans. Knit a quirky little robot for brother-in-law, knit a christmas wreath (why?) for the front door, knit a cowl for myself, knit a toy for Molly.

It is now the 19th of December and the sum total of my Christmas knitting is two currently dismembered legs for a chunky-knitted rabbit for Molly. I’m pretty well screwed at this point. But! I am holding myself accountable. I am putting it here, in writing and on the internet, that I will finish the bunny by Christmas and post a photo of it being unwrapped on Christmas day. It will happen (although I have just remembered that said rabbit is meant to have a knitted jumper. That part might not happen).

The rest of the Christmas stuff is going swimmingly though. Tree is up and decorated.

My sister and I even managed to squeeze in a wee bit of baking! Tiny helper helped by eating quite a few of the chocolate buttons. We made some raspberry and chocolate meringues. Delicious. Some were slightly flatter than normal, but doesn’t matter.

Then! The wonderful Josie from Love Ideas Ink  sent me this fabulous card as a gift for me to gift! It’s so cute, I really recommend her stuff. Good quality and good prices.

Lastly, there has been some more wandering around Auckland taking photos and calming the cranky toddler. This time it was a wander through Waterview…

I hope you are having a stress-free, happy build up to the holidays. And that you are not as behind with your knitting as I am!
