Walking in Windsor

I am sadly disappointed with the state of woollen affairs here. I was expecting to pick up some lovely unusual skeins as a souvenir of my holiday here, but so far there is nothing available that I couldn’t get at home anyway!

Other than that I am having a lovely time wandering around the shops and looking at all the beautiful old buildings. I had lunch in a pub that claims to be the former lodgings of Nell Gwynn, mistress of King Charles the (insert correct number here…can’t remember just now which Charles he was).

About Charlotte Marjoribanks Designs

I live in New Zealand with my daughter and husband. I take photos, I knit, I design knitting patterns, and I try and live thoughtfully (whatever that means on any given day).
