Ravellenics (ahem)

So, since the Tour de Fleece meant that I got a lot of fibre spun up, making me feel very successful spin-wise, I though I would also have a crack at the Ravellenics that is happening over on Ravelry. It had originally been called the Ravelympics but the Powers That Be made a fuss and it had to be renamed. Silly.

Anyway. I have finished my first project, which is my own pattern (narcissistic? Moi?) and it is going in the gift pile for a friend’s upcoming birthday.

This project had the added bonus of using up two and a bit partial balls from my stash.
I haven’t bought any new yarn in 5 months, and I am knitting and knitting and knitting, yet the stash doesn’t seem to be diminishing in any way! I swear the skeins are breeding.
I am now on to my second project, which is also my own yet-to-be-published pattern for some baby ballet shoes. They are working up very quickly so hopefully I will have photos to show soon.
Lastly, some more walks…

Happy Sunday, enjoy the sunshine if you can find any!
