Gifts and Walks

A couple of tea-cozies were sent out as (belated) birthday gifts for a friend and an aunt,

I found the beautiful turquoise burlap at my local Church Shop, and I lined the insides with a retro fabric I found in my local Hospice Shop (the op shops are good around here!).

Then some handspun wool went out as another (also belated) gift for a very busy, lovely mum of four. It’s about 70 yards of Indigo romney that I spun on a drop spindle and then felted lightly.

And here are a few shots from the last week or so of cold, wet, walking.

Hope you are having a good week too!
