Onehunga in the Afternoon

This is going to be the theme of my next photographic project.

I often end up wandering the streets (rain or shine) with Molly in her buggy when the afternoon becomes too much for little people and the only way to stop the meltdowns (hers and mine) is to get out of the house and walk. I am going to take my camera out too from now on as there are so many really interesting and picturesque things I see while I’m out and I want to capture them. I have always regretted not doing this before we moved from our old neighbourhood, as it’s the small things that make a place ‘yours’ but those are also the things that are easy to forget when you aren’t there all the time anymore.

I am sure I’ll have the chance to start on this today!

About Charlotte Marjoribanks Designs

I live in New Zealand with my daughter and husband. I take photos, I knit, I design knitting patterns, and I try and live thoughtfully (whatever that means on any given day).
