A New Lease of Life

I am addicted to finding fabric and textiles that have run out of energy in their current form and making them into something that has a new life and purpose.

The current project is turning some very aesthetically pleasing stencilled and stamped coffee sacks into pillow covers.

I bought a sewing machine for this very purpose, so if you like them please visit my shop and show your support by giving one a new home : )

I sold two at the Devonport Craft Market on the weekend and I made another 2 for my shop. I will add more as they are completed. The craft market went well this time and I am hopeful that this will be a successful trend!

The pillow covers have an envelope closure and some have patterns on the back as well as the front. They will fit a pillow inner that is 15×15 inches-18×18 inches.

I am really pleased with these and hope that I can get a lot of use out of the ones I made for my house.
